The Royal Society of Chemistry Scholarship
The Education Academy Scotland is privileged to have the support of The Royal Society of Chemistry to deliver the RSC Scholarship. Through the RSC Inclusion and Diversity Fund, we have created fully funded Chemistry scholarships for National 5 and Higher students to access our tuition and revision offers, as well as inspirational engagements with chemistry professionals in industry and academia.
The Education Academy Scotland shares the view of The Royal Society of Chemistry that "chemistry should be for everyone“ and our scholarships will be awarded to applicants who allow us to meet the aims of the RSC Inclusion and Diversity Strategy.
Applications are welcome from any N5 or Higher Chemistry students, particularly those from disadvantaged, underserved and/or underrepresented groups; with the aim to attract more young chemists from different backgrounds to study and work in the science, ensuring they are able to fulfil their potential and progress through their career, based on their skills and capability, without being hindered by any demographic, background or other barriers.
Scholars will receive a fully funded educational programme at The Education Academy Scotland which includes:
- Attendance at all of our 80-minute, face to face Weekly Lessons in N5/H Chemistry
- Attendance at both 4-hour Grade Booster Days in N5/H Chemistry
- Unlimited online support from our fully qualified Chemistry teachers
