Grade Booster Days

There are two Grade Booster Days available for each subject and they are delivered as part 1 and part 2 of an entire, intensive exam revision course.  Our Grade Booster Day schedule starts in Easter each year and runs across the exam diet, ensuring the best possible timing to prepare and refresh students for their SQA exams.

A carefully designed programme combines key areas, knowledge and skills from across the full Higher or National 5 subject.  We make sure that the theory is re-taught, covering any gaps, before going on to build the necessary skills to successfully deal with these areas under exam conditions.  Our staff are fully qualified, practicing teachers who know their subjects in thorough detail, so we know exactly how to prepare students for the imminent challenges ahead.  Each key area and skill from the respective course is covered and consolidated using a commination of theory, exam technique and unseen assessment scenarios.  In short, Grade Booster Days are the perfect way for students to end their course, heading into their exams with their knowledge and skills fully refreshed with and any gaps or weaknesses fixed, maximising not just their self confidence, but of course their chances of success in the exam.

Whilst we do recommend attendance at both days, we also appreciate this is not always possible so it is perfectly acceptable to attend Day 1 or 2 only.
