The ScotlandIS Scholarship

Empowering young people in shaping, changing and driving Scotland's digital economy.
There are three versions of the ScotlandIS Scholarship programme, all designed to help students with their SQA National Qualifications whilst supporting them towards a career in Scotland's digital sector:
- Programme 1: In-person support for Higher Maths students
- Programme 2: In-person support for N5 Maths students
- Programme 3: Online support for N5 Maths and Physics students
All of the above options are combined with engagements from leading inspirational figures from Scotland's digital sector including site visits and activities to build your knowledge of the countless study and career pathways there are in Scotland's digital sector.

“We are proud to have partnered with ScotlandIS and the Education Academy Scotland to fund these unique scholarships. Education has always been a key focus for us and initiatives like this are essential to building the foundation to a more inclusive and innovative future for Scottish tech. Already, the scholarship programme is proving pivotal to helping students across the country take their first step towards a career in STEM—we've seen fantastic engagement and feedback, and I'm looking forward to what the future holds.”

"As we complete year two of this incredible programme, we are thrilled and excited to expand the offer, reaching even more people than before and encouraging more young people in Scotland to consider the digital sector for their future study and career.
With their incredible generosity and invaluable support, ScotlandIS and Telefonica Tech UK has demonstrated just how serious and dedicated they are in their mission to drive our digital economy forward, clearly identifying the huge need for young people to enter the sector, and with their support, they will help learners navigate the entry routes to a digital career whilst connecting them to the right people and positive role models who will support and inspire them.
As Scotland’s premier tutoring school and SQA Approved Centre, we are proud to be partnered with the sector leaders who sit at the heart of our digital economy, paving the way for Scotland’s young people to access the rich opportunities and potential that a career in the digital world offers them".
