[Feb to April 2025 – approx. 22 hours of in-person classroom delivery, £1100].

The Education Academy Scotland ((TEAS) formerly known as Saturday School Ltd) is looking to recruit an engaging, experienced and inspirational chemistry teacher to deliver a short series of N5 and H Weekly Lessons and Grade Booster Days via our highly successful and pioneering partnership programme with one of the major secondary schools in Edinburgh City. The classes are delivered in person at their science department – with a combination of 6 80-minute evening classes and 1 3-hour Grade Booster Day for each level (N5 and H); working with eager and dedicated pupils who are keen to boost their attainment in the subject. All supported by their forward-thinking and driven Headteacher.

To apply, you must be a fully qualified, GTCS registered teacher of Chemistry. You must also be a member of PVG Scheme. Experience as an SQA Marker/verifier is also highly desirable. A positive attitude is a key non-negotiable requirement!

The initial work plan is below but for the right person, this role will be extended – and the offer of other work from other outputs of TEAS may also be made.
