Our approach
The Education Academy Scotland is driving transformative change in education, not just by revolutionising the way learning is delivered, but how, and to whom it is offered; challenging the outdated approaches and methods that just don't work for many learners. We do this by:
Offering specialised tuition and revision:
Providing sessions, in a range of options, targeting crucial support for SQA National Qualifications, extending learning opportunities beyond traditional constraints. Our innovative approach addresses gaps in academic achievement, provides additional support for students who need it most, and offers flexible scheduling and delivery to accommodate diverse needs.
Providing qualifications and awards to all:
Anyone and everyone can access our offer of SQA National Qualifications and Awards, whether you are still at school, home educated or an adult learner. Offering structured yet flexible learning opportunities to people of all ages and stages that complement and enhance their existing educational attainment, create a more inclusive educational landscape, ensuring that the most diverse range of learners can access quality education and achieve their academic goals.
Addressing the skills gap:
Through our growing scholarship programme, we are proudly redefining the very idea of what a scholarship is and who they are for, offering targeted programs of learning designed to enhance proficiency in all key skills and subjects areas, providing focused tuition, practical experiences, and mentorship from industry/academic experts, helping students build essential skills, engage in problem-solving, and gain exposure to real-world applications. This approach aims to better prepare students for future careers and contribute to narrowing the skills gap in Scotland’s workforce.
Who we are

“Ensuring that everyone in Scotland has the highest quality education, opportunities and support should be at the forefront of everything we do as educators. All subjects, but for me STEM in particular, is at the heart of everything we do, and benefit from on an almost second-by-second basis. I am so proud to lead an organisation that is positively changing and redefining how education is delivered in Scotland".
