Via the continued growth of our scholarship offers, our mission is to provide exceptional educational opportunities to dedicated students across Scotland. We understand that the path to academic success is challenging for the majority of students, and for some, who have faced additional adversity or disadvantage, there are even more barriers in the way. We aim to recognize and nurture talent, helping students to achieve their fullest potential - all made possible with the generosity and altruism of our Education Funding Partners.
What is a scholarship?
The Education Academy Scotland has redefined what a scholarship is, bringing a whole new meaning, purpose and journey to scholarships. Our increasing range of scholarship offers sets us apart. We break down the barriers to access that sadly exist for some scholarship programmes and we have completely removed the elitism that defines others.
By blending academic excellence with holistic support, study and career experience, we go beyond traditional financial aid; offering a tailored approach that addresses the diverse and specific needs of our students. Our programme not only provides funding but also incorporates mentorship, personalised learning and enrichment opportunities. By focusing on the whole student, we empower our Scholars to excel academically while developing critical life skills, fostering a love for learning and opening their eyes to the countless opportunities that exist for them.

The Education Academy Scotland Scholarship
Open to anyone and everyone, whether you are a school pupil, home-educated learner or adult, The Education Academy Scotland Scholarship supports people who face barriers to their learning or other adversity or disadvantage.
STEM Saturdays (Primary 6 & 7)
An exciting new scholarship for Primary 6 & 7 learners to enhance their STEM skills through hands-on practical activities; working alongside specialist STEM educators and industry STEM ambassadors. Designed to raise current attainment in school and inspire young people for a future in STEM.
The Catherine McEwan Foundation Scholarship
Fully funded, enhanced educational support for young people living with Crohn’s Disease or Colitis and who are in (or approaching) the senior phase of high school.
The ScotlandIS Scholarship
Providing enhanced educational support for young people who are considering a career in the digital technologies sector. Supporting learners with National 5 and Higher Maths tuition and revision, combines with a series of engagements with inspirational role models and employers in the cyber/tech/digital industry.
The i-confidential Cyber Security Scholarship
Providing enhanced educational support for young people who are considering a career in cyber security. Supporting learners in National 5 Maths with associated opportunities in the cyber security sector.
The Royal Society of Chemistry Scholarship
Maximising attainment through inclusion and diversity.
